[ Yato wouldn't have paid much mind to being completely forgotten by the guard, other than to grumble at not being let out for food. He doesn't even mind the little red light of the camera most of the time, because he thinks he can safely assume that whoever's on the other end isn't paying much attention to him.
Only the clatter of Ichirou's chair pulls Yato's attention away from the shitty flip phone he most assuredly is not supposed to have with him, and he rolls onto his side to face his visitor.
Yato's wariness toward the police is nothing personal, really. He doesn't have any hard feelings toward Ichirou. If anything, Ichirou's (at least temporary) willingess to turn a blind eye at the scene of the crime put him up a notch or two in Yato's estimation. Yato can appreciate a practical man. He smiles. ]
Clean but not very cozy. This has to be the emptiest jail west of the Atlantic.

There's no signs of monsters anywhere. Mafuyu had to stuff all those guns and swords back into the mailbox at the dead of night so that her parents wouldn't see, and the next day, she'd gone back to the subway to pick up her sleeping bag and all that's left is one long, empty track. The normalcy of it all feels so unreal, and throughout it all, the only person aside from her group who she really talked to was Yato— a one-sided conversation, and with the pristine state of the city now, she cringes as she scrolls through her sent messages at what looks like nothing more than a desperate cry for attention.
