the other person who mistakenly got the other half of this text guessed it quite easily, so i suppose there's no harm in telling you as well... as long as you keep it a secret. the person we're investigating is Ryoji Mochizuki, who passed away at the end of August yet has been seen online recently and has even messaged some people despite that.
[ Oohhh. Well that's a little awkward. Yato has a pretty big hunch about what's happening with Ryoji, but is it his maybe-secret to share? Maybe, maybe not... ]
i wasn't told anything specific, just that the sender seemed childlike and was sending things such as cat pictures and attempting to play word association games.
[ 0/10 she's never going to hire him for information ever!! ...If she ever finds out he didn't tell her he knew anything. ]
i've considered that... and i've decided to keep it as a potential theory. after all, a good detective never throws away any possibility until it becomes impossible, correct? it'll be one of the things we investigate once my employee and i meet up in a few days' time.
most likely, but in actuality... i'm only the president of the agency. he's the head detective. simply put, when we're on business, i'm more of his assistant rather than the other way around.
i'm not certain, though he's quite a popular model, so perhaps you've at least seen his face? regardless, his name is Goro Akechi. he's one of my roommates as well! you can often find him mooning over a certain barista in a cat cafe... it's very cute.
[ what do you mean detectives don't have lovely assistants ]
WTF I do know him
[ more like he randomly cooks meals for akechi's mom sometimes because he was asked to during a failed attempt to get three (3) whole people to believe he was a real god ]
[ magicians have lovely assistants, detectives have bedfellows?? i guess ]
"model" is his job, while "detective" is his passion. he lamented to me not long after we met that he felt he wouldn't be taken seriously for it (in juxtaposition to myself, where if i decided to become an actress it's likely i wouldn't be laughed at for being an amateur, but instead be viewed as aspiring) and so i offered to sponsor him, in a way. rather, i think i asked if he'd let me nurture his potential...? and thus The Answers Agency was born. it was more or less a whim on my part, but i did feel pity for his situation, and i think it's important for one to chase after what one truly wants.
[ don't worry yato one day she'll stop being so this... probably. ]
thank you and not at all! currently we operate out of our residences, though i've been looking into renting an office space of some sort. i'm not sure we'll need something too large though... once we manage to find a proper apartment to stay in we may simply use that instead? as unorthodox as that feels. but it's only the two of us, so perhaps that's fine?
