[ There is avoiding it, all the fights that Mafuyu gets in being ones she's willingly run headfirst into and she embraced that wholly. Their team had been split between reluctance and reckless, but everybody fought because everybody had to— she was just one of the only ones to have fun with it, making it into a game and wheedling prizes out of the Retrospec staff on her own while the city is literally being burnt to the ground and more than one person having died throughout everything that had happened.

[ She did get slammed into the ground by Noah's holy monster claw and possibly broke some ribs, but otherwise she eats well, sleeps well, heals up (too) well and looks just fine; injuries aren't anything she ever lets people know, or they'll become even more smothering. She's just fine by herself, and her personal strength is something she's always stood by, so powers and magic are things that make her frown. Is superhuman strength a power? Is being able to power through the pain of broken bones a power? Nah. It's all her. ]
